The Ballard Sessions Noah Gundersen- “Boathouse”
It’s been a while since I was this taken by a song. Mesmerized.

Listener - Seatbelt hands (by PMbasementshow)
she would always show us her dreams
they were crumpled up like leaves from holding on too tight
scattered in her shoebox coffin on the cardboard walls covered in butterflies
The Lost Brothers - Six Black Days | Cock and Bull TV (by cockandbulltvmusic)
Big Harp- “Everybody Pays”
Gabrielle Aplin - Station Sessions (by TheStationSessions)
Yasmin - Light Up The World - Secret Sessions (by secretsessionstv)
Yasmin is hip-hop/r&b; this is an acoustic version of her most uplifting song.
David Wax Museum: Folk Among The Ruins (by nprmusic)
Reggie Watts - F*** sh** stack - funny as hell (by fxsalazar)
There has been a serious lull in new music lately, but luckily I’ve been able to fill the void with some great (new to me) comedy.
Reggie uses comedy in his music, or uses music in his comedy, either way he’s pretty funny and extremely talented. You should check him out.
Michael Kiwanuka – (Home Again)
Esquire recently noted “This time next year, you’re going to be tired of people telling you about Michael Kiwanuka.” He’s a blog, particularly in his native UK, and music geek favorite for good reason. Michael is one of the richest new voices in soul music. It’s exceedingly rare to hear such a young artist with as much gravitas in his song writing and presentation. He doesn’t rush his songs; he draws the listener in and takes them along for a musical ride. His proper full length, Home Again, will be released in the UK the week after SXSW but a few EPs are already available on iTunes and Amazon. Michael Kiwanuka is poised to have a huge year and I think Esquire called this one perfectly.
Sarah Jaffe – “Shut It Down” (Drake w/ The-Dream cover – live)
No surprise here – we’re kind of a fan. Jaffe will be featuring music at SXSW from her new electronic pop influenced album due early next year.
(NEW) - Frightened Rabbit - Cheap Gold
